Long after the nomadic movement, the west coast of Scotland became significant for early Christians who might be seen as cultural and spiritual migrants. Running river water and small islands were particularly important to these travellers and, although records are sketchy there can be no doubt that the site of the current Glenorchy Parish Church was of extreme importance . . .
